Keeping the perimeter fence surrounding our neighborhood well maintained is important to every homeowner in the development. The majority of the fencing is over 20 years old and is starting to periodically break down. Some homeowners have already repaired or replaced their fencing. As the homeowners on the perimeter of the neighborhood continue to replace their fences, please remember that the deed restrictions filed by the original developer requires the homeowner keep the fence in good repair and the existing, uniform appearance and quality not be changed. The fencing around the newer section of the development is cedar which is the key reason why it has lasted for so long. Periodically, the WCNA sponsors a project to stain the entire outside of the perimeter fence to maintain its uniformity and appearance. Repairs for the fencing are not the responsibility of the association and are not permitted by its by-laws. In between these staining events, the WCNA supplies stain for the homes abutting Park Boulevard and/or Dove Road to keep the uniform appearance after the repairs/ replacements are made by the homeowner. If you need any stain please contact the Maintenance Chairman via the website at www.wcna-grapevine.com. |
